Tangyuan symbolize family unity and are often enjoyed during the Lantern Festival, which marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
    Making tangyuan is a time-consuming process, but it is definitely worth the effort. The glutinous rice flour is mixed with water to form a smooth dough, which is then divided into small portions. Each portion is flattened and filled with the desired filling before being rolled into a ball shape.
