五年级下册英语作文一日三餐主题
    Three Meals a Day
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are the three main meals we eat every single day. They're really important for giving us the energy and nutrition we need to grow, learn, play and just live our lives. I can't imagine going without any of those three meals!
Let me tell you about my typical eating routine and how much I look forward to each meal.
    Breakfast
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I totally believe it. Before I eat anything in the morning, I feel so sluggish and have a hard time waking up. But as soon as I've had my breakfast, it's like someone flipped an "energy" switch inside me!
On school days, my typical breakfast is a bowl of cereal with milk and a banana. My favorite cereals are Coco Puffs and Frosted Flakes - so sugary and delicious! Sometimes I'll have pancakes or French toast if my mom has time to make it.
The best breakfasts are the ones on weekend mornings when my dad cooks. He makes amazing omelets stuffed with cheese, mushrooms, peppers and bacon. Plus he always makes hot chocolate from scratch to go with it. Those big breakfasts give me so much energy to play hard all morning.

    Lunch
After I've burned tons of energy at school all morning with classes, P.E., and recess, I am ravenous by lunchtime. My stomach starts growling like a bear shortly before the lunch bell rings.
For lunch at school, I usually get the hot lunch in the cafeteria. My favorite meals are chicken nuggets, pizza, burgers and tacos. They also serve pastas and soups sometimes which I like. I always get a carton of milk, too - can't have strong bones without milk!

I'm not as crazy about the school lunches that have things like baked fish or meatloaf. Those aren't really my favorites. And I'm definitely not a fan of the veggies they serve, like Brussels sprouts or cooked spinach. No thanks!
At home on weekends and holidays, my mom packs me a lunchbox. She'll make me a sandwich on whole wheat bread with lean turkey and cheese. She also includes fruit, pretzels, yogurt, and a juice box. Her lunches are healthier than the school cafeteria, but still super yummy.
    Dinner
等风雨过后
Dinnertime is probably my favorite meal of the day - and not just because of the food. It's when my whole family sits down together at the table to catch up on each other's days. We share stories and laugh a lot.
For dinners, my mom makes amazing home-cooked meals from scratch, like meatloaf, fried chicken, pot roast, spaghetti and meatballs, tacos, and all kinds of different soups and stews. She's an awesome cook!
My favorite is when she makes her famous macaroni and cheese. She mixes in different cheeses to make it extra gooey and creamy. Then she tops it with butter and breadcrumbs. It's heaven!
While I absolutely love mom's cooking, I have to admit I get frustrated that she always makes us eat a vegetable or salad with our dinners. I know veggies are important to stay healthy, but I just don't like most of them very much.
I guess my absolute least favorite dinner is whenever we have liver and onions. Just typing those words makes me feel queasy! There's something about that metallic, bloody taste of liver that I can't stand. My parents keep serving it though because it's cheap and good for you. But I'd be perfectly fine never eating it again!
简单美食食谱英语作文五年级    Dessert
Is it bad that I look forward to dessert just as much as the main meal itself? There's nothing better than a sweet treat after finishing up a big plate of food. It's like the grand finale of the eating experience!乳腺纤维瘤食疗
My all-time favorite desserts are ice cream sundaes smothered in chocolate sauce, gummy bears, and anything with lots of frosting like cupcakes or cookie cakes. Just thinking about those sugary treats is making my mouth water.

After dinner at a restaurant, my family tradition is to order a hot fudge brownie sundae to share. We'll all take turns taking big bites, being careful not to dribble hot fudge down our chins. Those desserts are so indulgent and the perfect way to end a nice dining experience.
So that's my rundown of the three meals that make up my daily life. I don't always appreciate how lucky I am to have so much delicious, nutritious food available whenever I'm hungry. Whether it's a home-cooked comfort meal or something quick from a restaurant, I really should be thankful I never have to worry about where my next meal is c
